We lost lot of generating capacity on Sunday, - Halushchenko

The Ukrainian energy sector lost a lot of generating capacity as a result of the shelling on February 2 this year.
The Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Halushchenko told journalists about this, Censor.NET reports citing RBC-Ukraine.
The only thing that affects is the consequences of the attacks. Unfortunately, these attacks happen every day. I want to tell you that on Sunday we lost a lot of generating capacity," Halushchenko said.
He noted that the level of damage to the facility is significant and it is unclear how long it will take to restore it.
However, according to him, despite the fact that there is a lot of damage to energy facilities, the power system continues to operate, and there is no need to disconnect household consumers.
Earlier, Censor.NET reported that emergency power outages have been introduced in eight regions of Ukraine.
