Trump is ready to double sanctions against Russia. Currently, their level is 3 out of 10 - Kellogg

U.S. President Donald Trump is ready to double sanctions against Russia to end the war.
This was stated by Keith Kellogg, the US leader's special envoy for the Ukrainian settlement, Censor.NET reports with reference to the New York Post.
According to him, currently, the application of sanctions against Russia is estimated at only "3 out of 10" on the scale of painful economic pressure.
The US sanctions against the Russian energy sector are nominally twice as high, but there is an opportunity to strengthen them, he added.
"It is indeed possible to strengthen sanctions, especially the latter (on oil production and exports - Ed.)," Kellogg said.
Earlier, Donald Trump called on Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to end the war against Ukraine and conclude a peace agreement. Otherwise, he threatened Russia with heavy taxes and sanctions.
