Shaheds’ attack on 7 February 2025. How air defence worked

On the night of 7 February 2025, Russian troops fired 112 "Shahed"-type strike UAVs and various types of UAV imitators at Ukraine.

This was reported by the Air Force, Censor.NET informs.

The launches were recorded from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Bryansk, and Shatalovo.

"As of 09.00, the downing of the 81st 'Shahed' attack UAV and other types of drones in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv and Odesa regions has been confirmed.

31 enemy imitator drones were lost locally (without negative consequences)," the statement said.

Sumy, Kyiv, and Khmelnytskyi regions suffered as a result of the enemy attack.
