Truck driver planned to smuggle offender abroad for $14,000 - SBGS
A truck driver tried to illegally smuggle a man liable for military service to Slovakia.
This was reported by the State Border Guard Service, Censor.NET reports.
Employees of the Department of Internal and Personal Security and servicemen of the Chop detachment prevented the illegal intentions of the truck driver, who undertook to transport a man of military age to Slovakia for a monetary reward.
Where was the passenger hiding?
The "passenger" was hiding in a car rest area and intended to avoid border control. It turned out that he had paid USD 14,000 for the promise and organization of the illegal border crossing.
Law enforcement officers detained the smuggler. He was served a notice of suspicion of committing a criminal offense. The border violator will be held administratively liable.
