Zelenskyy announces talks with Trump’s team: strong and lasting peace should come closer

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that the coming weeks will be intense in diplomacy.

He published a statement on his Telegram channel, Censor.NET reports.

"The coming weeks may be very busy in diplomacy, and we will do everything necessary to make this time effective and productive. We always appreciate the cooperation with President Trump. We are also planning meetings and negotiations at the team level," the President said.

According to Zelenskyy, Ukrainian and American teams are currently working on the details.

"A strong and lasting peace should become closer," the president added in conclusion.

On February 7, US President Donald Trump said he was likely to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy next week.
