Ukraine is ready to store US gas in its storage facilities. We will be hub for whole of Europe - Zelenskyy

Ukraine and the United States are discussing the idea of using Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities to store American liquefied natural gas (LNG).
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in an interview with Reuters, Censor.NET reports.
"This is very interesting for us. I know it is very interesting for the Trump administration. We are ready and willing to have contracts for the supply of LNG to Ukraine. And, of course, we will be a hub for the whole of Europe," he said.
According to him, Ukraine is interested in signing contracts and is ready to ensure the transit of American gas to the European Union.
"I know that our American partners support this. We are also ready to let our American partners enter this sector, this market. I think this is also part of the security for Ukraine and Europe because this is not Russian gas," he added.
As reported earlier, Ukraine is working on participating in gas supplies from Azerbaijan to Europe.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also said that Ukraine did not refuse to transit gas from Azerbaijan to Europe, but Kyiv would not agree to resume the transit of Russian gas.
