The Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant is in a deep crisis due to mobilization activities carried out by the occupation administration.

According to local sources, a significant number of workers have already been forcibly sent to fight in the Russian army.
This situation is reportedly forcing men to avoid official employment, as the lists of new employees are automatically sent to military recruitment offices. In fact, any employment at the company turns into a "ticket" to the front.
In addition to the mobilization pressure, the company faced financial problems. Salaries have not been paid for several months, and the management does not provide guarantees of receiving money. This further increases the outflow of labor.
The NRC notes that the plant is also suffering from a shortage of raw materials and logistics problems. Destruction of infrastructure and supply disruptions have led to a significant reduction in production capacity.
