US will not send its troops to Ukraine - Hegseth

The United States does not intend to send its troops to Ukraine.
This was stated by Pentagon Chief Peter Hegseth during a conversation with journalists in Stuttgart on Tuesday, February 11, the European Parliament reports, Censor.NET informs.
Journalists asked Hegseth whether the Trump administration would be open to sending US troops to Ukraine, in particular, to monitor the supply of weapons. The head of the U.S. Defense Department replied:
"We are not sending American troops to Ukraine."
In addition, the Pentagon chief emphasized that President Trump hopes to conclude an agreement to end Russia's war against Ukraine as soon as possible.
Earlier it was reported that Hegseth would not announce any new US aid packages to Ukraine at Ramstein.
