Volunteer fighters under 25 who signed contract with AFU under new conditions will be able to receive UAH 1 million - Defense Ministry

Soldiers of private, sergeant, and non-commissioned officer ranks who joined the Defense Forces under the age of 25 before the new contract terms of the Ministry of Defense took effect are also entitled to a cash reward of UAH 1 million.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the spokesman for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Dmytro Lazutkin, on the "We are Ukraine" TV channel.
"It would be unfair to disregard those who have already taken this step. The full-scale war has been ongoing for almost three years. A cash payment of UAH 1 million is designated for those enlisted personnel who joined the army under the age of 25 before the new contract terms came into effect," he explained.
The Defense Ministry spokesman added that to do this, one should contact the brigade commander and find out the algorithm for receiving financial assistance.
As a reminder, on February 11, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine officially launched the Contract 18-24 voluntary service format for Ukrainians who are ready to join the Defense Forces for one year.
The Ministry emphasized that joining the Defense Forces under this project is not mobilization, but a voluntary choice.
