Tanks, artillery and missiles: UK provides Ukraine with £150m military aid package

Britain has provided Ukraine with aid package

On Wednesday, 12 February, the UK announced a new package of military aid to Ukraine. It will include tanks, artillery, missiles and other types of weapons, as well as contracts for the maintenance of previously supplied equipment.

This was announced by British Defence Secretary John Healey at the beginning of a meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's Defence in Brussels, ‘Ukrinform’ reports, Censor.NET informs.

Today I have announced an additional £150 million for new firepower - tanks, artillery, air-to-air missiles - and new contracts to repair critical equipment in Ukraine," said Healey.

It is worth reminding that before the Ramstein meeting, Healey said that in 2025 the UK would allocate £4.5 billion for military assistance to Ukraine.

As a reminder, on Wednesday, 12 February, a meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group (UDCG) in the "Ramstein" format, chaired by the UK, began in Brussels.

Earlier, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said that this year the UK intends to provide Ukraine with more military assistance than before.
