Rubio, Waltz, Witkoff: Trump names members of Ukraine negotiating team

US President Donald Trump has decided on a team of negotiators who will take part in talks to end Russia's war against Ukraine.
He wrote about this on Truth Social following a conversation with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin on Wednesday, 12 February, Censor.NET reports.
‘I have asked Secretary of State Marco Rubio, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, and Ambassador and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff to lead the negotiations, which I am confident will be successful,’ the American leader said.
However, in his statement, the White House chief did not mention Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg, who will attend the Munich conference this week and then visit Ukraine.
As a reminder, US President Donald Trump had a telephone conversation with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin on the morning of 12 February.
On the same day, Trump also spoke to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
