We received American vision of deepening our work - Zelenskyy on meeting with Bessent
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has met with US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
He wrote about it in his telegram channel, Censor.NET reports.
Zelenskyy stressed that Ukraine values its partnership with the United States, is grateful for the assistance in defending its independence and seeks to increase our common capabilities, especially in security.
‘Security matters. Moscow and its allies cannot be allowed to gain control of Ukraine, and that means we need to work together - everyone in the free world. We have received the American vision of deepening our work, discussed the content of these proposals today, and are working for a strong agreement. We expect to make progress during the Munich Security Conference,’ the President said.
Earlier, Zelenskyy said that Ukraine had received the first draft of a partnership agreement from the United States.
