"Ukraine has irrevocably lost DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions" - Nebenzya

Nebenzya claims Ukraine’s alleged territorial losses in the war with Russia

Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said that Ukraine has allegedly "irrevocably" lost the Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions occupied by Russia.

According to Censor.NET, his statement was quoted by Russian propaganda media.

"All of this remains relevant, with the only difference being that Ukraine has now irrevocably lost not only Crimea, but also the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, and Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, which became part of Russia," Nebenzya said.

According to him, it is now necessary to "correct the situation" in those regions that are still "under the control of Ukraine."

In his speech, the Russian ambassador to the UN also outlined Russia's conditions for resolving the "conflict" in Ukraine.

Nebenzya said that the future Ukraine should be "a demilitarized, neutral state that is not part of any blocs or alliances."

The Russian diplomat added that the ceasefire and freezing of the "Ukrainian conflict" are not guarantees of its settlement.

"With the Republicans coming to power in the United States, there are chances that the 'hot phase' of the Ukrainian crisis may soon be over," Nebenzya added.
