U.S. wants permanent end to war, not temporary one, as it was before - Waltz

The United States wants a permanent end to Russia's war against Ukraine, not a temporary one.
This was stated by Trump's National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, Censor.NET reports citing The Guardian.
"There are some basic principles. It should be a permanent end to the war, not a temporary one, as we have seen in the past," he stressed.
According to him, there will be some discussion about territories and security guarantees.
"These are the fundamentals that will underlie any type of discussion. But I think the most important thing is that the president has declared his desire, his determination to put an end to this war, to put an end to the killings that are taking place... This is not in the interest of any country. It's not in the interest of the world and certainly not in the interest of the United States and Europe," Waltz added.
