US has entered game very decisively, I expect cessation of hostilities - Duda

Duda made a statement after meeting with Kellogg

Polish President Andrzej Duda said that the United States "has entered the game very decisively to end the war in Ukraine." He expects that US President Donald Trump will be able to end Russia's war against Ukraine.

The Polish leader said this after a meeting with US Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg, РАР reports, Censor.NET reports.

Duda said that his conversation with Kellogg focused on security issues, with an emphasis on the situation in Ukraine and how Russia's actions affect Polish security.

"I presented to the general how we perceive the situation in Ukraine... I told the general how we perceive Russia's behavior, the statements of Russian representatives," the Polish leader said.

The Polish leader said that he expects at least a cessation of hostilities, and also expressed hope for "an end to Russian aggression against Ukraine."

"In my opinion, America has entered the game very strongly in terms of ending the war in Ukraine. I know President Donald Trump. I know that he is an extremely determined person, and when he acts, he acts decisively, usually effectively. I expect that there will be at least a cessation of hostilities, and I hope there will be a cessation of Russian aggression against Ukraine," Duda said.
