Kazakhstan wants to discuss with Ukraine attack on the Russian oil pumping station

A strike on an oil pumping station in Russia. Kazakhstan’s reaction

Kazakhstan to discuss with Ukraine the attack on the Caspian Pipeline Consortium oil pumping station.

According to Censor.NET, citing Informburo.kz, this was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Akan Rakhmetullin.

He noted that Kazakhstan is aware of the attack on the Kropotkinskaya station, which is located in the Caucasian part of the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation.

"There was a statement from the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan that although the strikes were carried out, oil is still flowing in the same volume. Naturally, we will communicate with the Ukrainian side, talk, and have meetings. There will definitely be contacts here or in Kyiv. We have to resolve these issues diplomatically to avoid this in the future," Rakhmetullin said.

Earlier, Transneft said that the consequences of the attack on the Russian oil pumping station would take 1.5-2 months to be eliminated, which could lead to a 30% reduction in oil pumping from Kazakhstan.

As a reminder, on the night of February 17, 2025, SSU and SOF drones hit two Russian oil companies in the Krasnodar Territory.
