SBI serves notice of suspicion to commander of Kyiv TDF, where I mobilised in 2022 - Shabunin
The State Bureau of Investigation has served a notice of suspicion to a commander of the Kyiv TDF, where the head of the AntAC Vitalii Shabunin mobilised in the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion.
He announced this on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.
"The State Bureau of Investigation served a notice of suspicion to my first commander, a commander of the Kyiv TDF, where I mobilised in the first days of the war. The SBI claims that the commander: ‘had the intention to obtain an unlawful benefit of an intangible nature for himself in the form of using the opportunities from his acquaintance with Shabunin V.V.’ I'm not kidding - this is exactly what the SBI is charging my former comrade with. At the same time, the SBI does not indicate what kind of ‘unlawful benefit of an intangible nature’ it is referring to," he said.
Shabunin, quoting the SBI, said that in order to ‘implement this intention’, the commander agreed to send him on a business trip to the NACP, which ‘is located far from the areas of combat operations’, which gave him (Shabunin - Ed.) the opportunity not to perform combat missions of the military unit.
"However, the Ermak/Tatarov SBI is shyly silent about the fact that this is the time AFTER the end of the Kyiv operation, when the enemy had ALREADY been thrown out of the Kyiv region. At that time, my battalion was stationed near Kyiv: my company, for example, was in Sukholuchchia for part of the time.

The commander also ‘realising the socially dangerous nature’ paid me the minimum allowance possible for a military servant, and also charged me a single social contribution. According to him, the suspicion was brought directly to the military hospital yesterday, the day he left Kyiv for his new duty station.
"That's why the state secretary of the Ministry of Defence was hysterical for the previous three days, to get me out of the capital as soon as possible. The suspicion is as legally poor as the SBI and the prosecutor's office are dependent on Yermak/Tatarov. It is obvious that they are simply putting pressure (or intimidating) my combatant. This and other proceedings I am aware of (9 episodes in total) were formally initiated by Portnov's staff.
