Waltz spoke about Trump’s policy towards Ukraine and Russia

Mike Waltz, the US National Security Advisor, has outlined four main areas of the Donald Trump administration's policy towards Ukraine and Russia.

He said this on Fox News on Sunday, 23 February, "Voice of America" reports, Censor.NET informs.

The first area, according to Waltz, is changes in aid policy, namely "economic partnership with Ukraine and critical minerals".

Trump's adviser expressed his belief that Americans "will see a return on the huge investment they have made".

"Second, we are moving towards a ceasefire. Thirdly, we are reformulating how the United States deals with Russia. We saw the first step when President Trump spoke with both (Russian dictator ) Putin and (Ukrainian President) Zelenskyy, and then further interaction in Riyadh," the US official said.

And the last - fourth - point Waltz mentioned was the US interaction with European allies in anticipation of the visit of the French president and the British prime minister to Washington next week.

"We welcome their ideas for security guarantees and European leadership to keep Europe safe going forward," the Trump adviser said.
