Russian aggression began with Crimea and will end there - Sybiha

Kellogg’s visit to Kyiv

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said that the struggle for the liberation of Crimea continues, and the return of the peninsula is a key element of European security.

He wrote about this on the social network X, Censor.NET reports.

"For 11 years, Russia has turned the Ukrainian peninsula into a military base and a prison: it has silenced dissent, oppressed Crimean Tatars, banned the Mejlis, and erased Ukrainian identity. But the resistance never stopped," Sybiga wrote.

Sibiga noted that every day, Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars defy the occupiers, risking arrest for opposing the regime.

"Russian aggression started in Crimea and will end there. Crimea will return to Ukraine. We will never give up on this goal. This is a key element of security and peace in Europe," the minister emphasized.
