Saki and Kacha military airfields in occupied Crimea and Tuapse oil refinery were struck – General Staff Units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defence Forces, on the night of 26 February 2025, struck a number of strategic targets of the Russian invaders in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation and in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukrainian Crimea.
This was reported by the General Staff, Censor.NET reports.
Among other things, the military airfields of Saki and Kacha, as well as the Tuapse oil refinery, were struck by fire.
It is noted that the Tuapse refinery processes oil with a declared volume of 12 million tonnes per year. More than 90% of the oil products produced are exported.
The company is also actively involved in supplying the Russian occupation army. At least 40 explosions were recorded in the area of the refinery. There is information about damage to the plant's infrastructure.
"The results of the strikes are being clarified. Strikes on military and strategic targets involved in supporting Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine will continue," the command added."
As a reminder, the Russian Ministry of Defence said that on the night of 26 February 2025, Russian air defence allegedly intercepted 128 Ukrainian drones over the territory of a number of regions of Russia and occupied Crimea.
