Fatal road accident in Kherson region: Deputy head of the Regional Military Administration runs over cyclist to death - police
Today, at around 18:00, a road accident occurred in Posad-Pokrovske, killing a 50-year-old man. Kherson police are establishing the circumstances of the incident.

According to law enforcement officials, the driver of a Renault Megan, who is the deputy head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, hit a cyclist who was leaving a secondary road and crossing the carriageway while driving on the M-14 Odesa-Melitopol-Novoazovsk motorway. As a result of the accident, the driver of the two-wheeler sustained injuries incompatible with life.
It is noted that investigators from the regional police headquarters are working at the scene of the accident. The car was seized and taken to the impound lot.
Proceedings have been opened under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, i.e., violation of road safety rules, which led to the death of the victim.
Earlier, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, said that a road accident had occurred involving an employee of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
