US President Donald Trump has started a dispute with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy over his appearance.

As noted, Trump refused to meet with Zelenskyy after a tense dialogue in the Oval Office, saying that the Ukrainian leader should leave the White House.

During Zelenskyy's visit to Washington, the Ukrainian delegation hoped to sign a minerals agreement, but the meeting ended without any agreements.

Axios sources also report that Trump did not like Zelenskyy's appearance. The American leader's team had asked the Ukrainian president in advance to give up his military uniform. Zelenskyy arrived at the White House in a black outfit with national symbols, but without an official suit.

According to media reports, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Adviser Mike Walz told Zelenskyy that he had to leave the White House.

Later, Trump said on Truth Social that Zelenskyy had shown "disrespect for the United States" and could return only when he was ready to negotiate peace.
