Turkey to offer to host Ukraine-Russia talks at London summit - Reuters

At a meeting of European leaders to be held in London on March 2, 2025, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will reiterate Turkey's proposal to hold peace talks between Ukraine and Russia.
This is according to Reuters sources, Censor.NET reports citing Hromadske.
As noted, the minister will inform European leaders about Turkey's efforts to find a "just and lasting peace" in the war.
Fidan is expected to "emphasize that Turkey, which hosted direct talks between Russia and Ukraine in March 2022, is ready to assume this role in the future." The minister is also preparing to express the position that all parties should jointly focus on long-term regional security and stability.
The source added that Fidan will also reaffirm Ankara's commitment to Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
