Ukraine’s Air Force: 63 out of 79 Shaheds destroyed, 16 more drones lost in area - Air Force

On the night of March 2, 2025, Russian troops attacked with 79 Shahed attack UAVs and various types of imitation drones.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press center of the Air Force Command.
As noted, the air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
How many drones did our air defense destroy?
According to the Air Force, as of 08.30 a.m., 63 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones were confirmed downed in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions.
16 enemy imitator drones were lost locally (no negative consequences).
Consequences
The enemy attack affected Kharkiv, Sumy, Khmelnytskyi, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
As reported, a nighttime drone attack in Khmelnytskyi region resulted in a casualty and damage to civilian infrastructure, power lines, and a hangar.
