In Sumy region, Russian troops are trying to cut logistics routes to Kursk region – SBGS

Situation on the border of Sumy region

Russian troops are trying to cut off logistics routes in Sumy region to prevent the supply of necessary supplies to our soldiers within the Kursk region.

According to Censor.NET, citing Ukrinform, this was reported by the spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, Andrii Demchenko.

"The enemy is trying to cross the border in small groups in order to accumulate on our territory. And this is the flank of the territory where the Defense Forces are conducting operations within the Kursk region. The enemy's goal is most likely to cut off logistics routes in order to make it impossible to supply the necessary means to our soldiers on the other side of the border within Kursk region," he said.

According to him, the enemy is failing to implement its plans in Sumy region.

"The defense forces, which include units of both the Armed Forces and the State Border Guard Service, are doing everything possible to prevent the enemy from, first, crossing our border and, second, gaining a foothold in this territory in order to develop an active combat zone on our territory," Demchenko added.
