Minus 33 occupiers and 14 units of enemy equipment: fighters of 24th SMB repelled enemy assault near Chasiv Yar. VIDEO

Ukrainian soldiers from the 24th SMB named after King Danylo Halytskyi repelled a mechanised assault in Chasiv Yar, in which the enemy used 25 pieces of equipment.

According to Censor.NET, a video with fragments of the battle was posted on social media.

"On the morning of 6 March, the ruscists decided to break through with a column of armoured vehicles. More than two dozen vehicles, including airborne combat vehicles, moved one by one towards the positions of the 24th SMB named after King Danylo. They were met with a 'warm' welcome: infantry, artillery and drone crews did everything to make the invaders' journey unforgettable. As a result, the Russian convoy at some point got stuck in a traffic jam - a cluster of damaged vehicles blocked the crossing of the Canal. The survivors hit the reverse gear, but not everyone managed to escape. At least 14 vehicles burned down or remained on the battlefield, while others decided not to tempt fate and retreated. Preliminary enemy losses in manpower are at least 33 soldiers killed and wounded," the commentary to the video reads.
