France to allocate €200 million for 19 projects to rebuild Ukraine’s energy, healthcare and infrastructure

Ukraine is implementing 19 projects in the fields of energy, healthcare, infrastructure, water supply, and demining with the financial support of France for €200 million.
This is reported by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.
During a visit to Paris, First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko discussed with French officials projects to restore Ukraine with the participation of French business representatives.
As noted, the French government has approved the first 19 projects under the funding. They cover healthcare, energy, infrastructure, and humanitarian demining. The projects will last from 5 to 16 months.
"We are grateful to France for its strategic partnership. This agreement provides Ukraine with 200 million euros through the Fund for Ukraine, which will be used to rebuild critical infrastructure. Of this amount, 60 million will be used to support the energy sector," Svyrydenko said. The total amount of applications for funding has reached 600 million euros. Part of the funds will be used to modernize energy infrastructure in Kharkiv, Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia and other regions. The projects include the implementation of digital solutions, the renewal of the power system and the transition to green energy.
Humanitarian demining will also be financed separately. According to estimates, Ukraine remains the most heavily mined country in the world, with more than 138,000 square kilometers of its territory contaminated with explosive ordnance, almost a quarter of the area of France.
