During the past week, from March 3 to March 9, Ukraine's air defense shot down 700 enemy air attack vehicles.
This is reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Censor.NET informs .
In particular, the following were destroyed:
- 25 X-101 cruise missiles;
- 8 Kalibr cruise missiles
- 1Iskander-K cruise missile
- 1 X-59 guided missile;
- 520 attack UAVs of the Shahed type;
- 39 reconnaissance UAVs;
- 106 other types of UAVs.
It is also reported that over the past week, the tactical aviation of the Air Force carried out more than 120 sorties, including:
- 44 - for fire damage and air support of troops;
- 80 - for fighter air cover;
- 21 - for aerial reconnaissance.
"Air Force pilots conducted dozens of air strikes on enemy positions with bombs and missiles of various types. Control points, areas of concentration of equipment and manpower were hit," the Air Force said.
In addition, the UAV units of the Combined Arms Rifle Brigade of the Air Force conducted 1134 combat sorties over the week: 1029 reconnaissance flights of UAVs; 105 drops and attacks by FPV drones.
As a result, the following were eliminated:
- up to 70 people of the enemy's manpower
- special equipment;
- 20 enemy shelters and positions.
