Russia is already using "Shaheds" with Starlink and SIM cards against Ukraine, - Ihnat

Yuriy Ihnat said that Russia uses Shaheds from Starlink for attacks

Russia's attacks on Ukraine with drones and aircraft are becoming more technologically advanced. The Armed Forces are adapting to the enemy's know-how.

This was stated by Yuriy Ihnat, Head of the Communications Department of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during a discussion at "Defense Talks: Sky without KABs", Censor.NET informs.

According to him, the occupiers are using both Starlink and SIM cards on the shaheds.

"All this is being studied in order to know how to counteract it. For us, this is a target that needs to be destroyed by one means or another that we have. And destroy it as cheaply as possible," Ihnat said.

The head of the Communications Department of the Ukrainian Air Force Command also added that they are adapting to new methods of Russian attacks.

"This is the price of our lives. It depends on whether the planes will come here. If they do, then we will get FABs for our heads instead of KABs. Ten times more," Ihnat emphasized.

According to him, air defense is proactive, but forecasting is a complex process. The priority is cheap and effective ways to destroy targets.

Earlier, it was reported that the Defense Forces may have found a way to counter Russian guided aerial bombs dropped by Russian troops on Ukrainian positions and frontline settlements.
