A third of Ukrainians express disappointment with the government (32%), while 28% feel hopeful.
This is evidenced by a survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) on 14-24 February 2025, Censor.NET reports.
According to the study, the most common feelings are disappointment (32%) and hope (28%). The respondents also mentioned shame (17%), anger (16%), compassion (15%), pride (13%) and hatred (11%). Relatively fewer respondents mentioned fear (8%), gratitude (8%), indifference (6%), sympathy (6%) and laughter (4%).
Negative emotions prevail among citizens who do not trust President Volodymyr Zelenskyy: 55% feel disappointed and 35% feel angry. At the same time, among Zelenskyy's supporters, 41% express hope, 22% - sympathy, 19% - pride, but 21% also said they feel disappointed.
As noted, the survey was conducted by telephone interviews among 1,000 respondents aged 18 and over who live in the government-controlled areas.
