EU prepares to approve Ukraine summit decision without Hungary’s support

The European Union is once again preparing for a scenario where the conclusions of the March 20-21 summit on Ukraine can be approved without the support of Hungary, which had previously publicly opposed them.
This was reported to journalists on condition of anonymity by a senior EU official, Censor.NET reports citing the EP.
According to the source, the conclusions of this week's meeting of EU leaders regarding Ukraine can be adopted in the same way as at the emergency summit in early March - by a decision of 26 member states.
Without naming the state that opposes the adoption of the conclusions on Ukraine, the EU official confirmed that "there is a disagreement with one member state" and "we have to move forward with 26" states.
As a reminder, on March 6, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban refused to sign the conclusions of the March 6 extraordinary European Council meeting on support for Ukraine, which was eventually approved by 26 of the 27 EU states.
