About 40 "Shaheds" in our skies, now we can literally hear what Russia really needs, - Zelenskyy
After a conversation between US President Donald Trump and Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin, Russia launched about 40 "shaheds" into Ukraine.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Censor.NET reports.
The Head of State said that there were hits to civilian infrastructure.
"A direct hit of a "shahed" on a hospital in Sumy, strikes on cities in Donetsk region, attack drones are now in the skies of Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Chernihiv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk and Cherkasy regions," the President noted.
He added that it is precisely such nighttime attacks by Russia that are destroying Ukraine's energy, infrastructure and normal life.
Today, Putin has effectively rejected the proposal for a complete ceasefire. It would be right for the world to reject any attempts by Putin to prolong the war. Sanctions against Russia. Assistance to Ukraine. Strengthening allies in the free world and working for security guarantees. Only a real end to Russia's attacks on civilian infrastructure as evidence of its desire to end this war can bring peace closer.
Earlier it was reported that Trump and Putin had agreed that the move towards peace would begin with a ceasefire on energy and infrastructure.
