Pistorius on ceasefire talks between Ukraine and Russia: Putin is playing game. Attacks have not eased
German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius said that Vladimir Putin is manipulating the ceasefire while the Russian army continues to attack Ukraine.
This was reported by the AFP agency, Censor.NET informs.
Pistorius stressed that the intensity of Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities has not decreased after US President Donald Trump's conversation with Vladimir Putin.
"Putin is playing a game," the minister said.
He also stressed that the American president "has a responsibility for one of the great nations of the world" and will sooner or later be forced to respond to the situation.
Pistorius called unacceptable the Kremlin's demand to end all Western military and intelligence support for Ukraine as a condition for peace.
"This is very transparent," the German minister added. According to him, it is aimed at weakening Ukraine's ability to defend itself and preventing support from its partners.
