On March 19, a volunteer Oleksandr Ivakhnenko was killed in a Russian attack on Kherson.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported on Facebook by volunteer Anastasia Protsenko.
It is noted that Oleksandr came under attack by Russian troops when he helped close the windows after previous hits.
Volunteer Andrii Vatazhko told Suspilne that Ivakhnenko delivered hot meals to people, assisted in evacuating residents from the red zone, and helped mitigate the aftermath of Russian attacks.
"He was an incredibly warm-hearted, kind, and compassionate person who always found the strength to support, joke, and bring a smile even in the most difficult situations. Oleksandr selflessly helped people, believed in kindness, and made the world a better place," said Andrii.
Oleksandr is survived by his girlfriend and child.
