On the night of 20 March, a series of explosions took place in the Saratov region.
This was reported by Censor.NET, citing Russian media and local Telegram channels.
According to preliminary information, the UAVs attacked the Enel oil depot and the Saratov oil refinery.
It is reported that at around four in the morning, local residents heard sirens, followed by powerful explosions. After that, witnesses reported seeing a fire on the territory of the oil company.
Engels is also home to oil-related businesses, such as "Kombinat Kristall". This oil depot provided fuel to the "Engels-2" military airfield, where Russian strategic aviation is based.
Loud explosions were also heard in the Voronezh region that night. Locals say that air defence forces were active in the region. Four to six explosions were heard.
