Trump on talks with Putin and Zelenskyy: these are two very good conversations

US President Trump on talks with Putin and Zelenskyy

U.S. President Donald Trump has assessed his conversations with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He called them "very good."

According to Censor.NET, Trump said this in an interview with Breitbart News.

"The (conversation - ed.) that I had with President Putin yesterday (March 18 - ed.) went very well," Trump said.

"Then I spoke with President Zelenskyy and explained what happened yesterday, and my goal is to unite these two countries. Then we will agree on a ceasefire and, in the end, we will stop losing 2,000 people a week," he said.

Trump claims that "2,000 people a week or more are dying in this war," and therefore he wants to stop it.

He then emphasized that he had "two very good phone conversations" and expressed confidence "that an agreement will be reached so that we can stop the bloodshed that is happening there."

"I also want to stop the huge payments that we have to make. I also want Europe to pay as much as we do, because they couldn't do it under Biden," Trump added.

As a reminder, on Tuesday, March 18, US President Donald Trump and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin had a phone conversation.

On March 19, Trump spoke on the phone with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
