Ukraine has received €1bn from EU under ERA initiative, - Shmyhal

Ukraine has received €1 billion from the European Union under the ERA financial initiative.
This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on his telegram channel, Censor.NET reports.
According to the head of government, this is the second EU tranche financed by proceeds from frozen Russian assets.. The allocated funds will be used for priority state budget expenditures.
"In total, at the initiative of the G7, European partners have already provided €4 billion to Ukraine," Shmyhal said.
He also stressed that Ukraine will continue to work on the complete confiscation of frozen Russian assets and their use for the country's recovery.
As a reminder, European Commissioner for Economic Affairs, Production, Implementation and Facilitation Valdis Dombrovskis arrived in Kyiv on 20 March to announce the second tranche of the EU's €1bn financial assistance to Ukraine under the G7-led ERA initiative.
