Promoting Russia’s war against Ukraine: propagandist Solovyov has been served notice of suspicion in absentia – SSU

The Security Service of Ukraine has documented the crimes of Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov, who actively promotes Russia's war against Ukraine, justifies war crimes of the Russian military and calls for the genocide of Ukrainians.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the SSU press center.
According to the case file, Solovyov is part of Russian President Vladimir Putin's media pool and is one of the main mouthpieces of the Kremlin. The SSU recorded that Solovyov had repeatedly called for the use of tactical nuclear weapons against Ukraine, and also called for the seizure of four regions in the south and east of the country.
Solovyov regularly repeats these calls in his appearances on Kremlin television, radio, and his telegram channel. In 2024-2025, he repeatedly suggested destroying civilian infrastructure and residents of Ukrainian cities through air strikes.
Based on the documented facts, SSU investigators served Solovyov with a notice of suspicion under five articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- p. 3, Art. 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine);
- p. 2, Art. 442 (genocide);
- p. 3, Art. 436-2 (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine, glorification of its participants);
- p. 3, Art. 109 (actions aimed at the violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or the seizure of state power);
- Article 436 (propaganda of war).
As noted, since Solovyov is a fugitive from justice in Russia, measures are being taken to bring him to justice.
