Consequences of massive UAV strike on Poltava: hits and falling debris recorded at 6 different locations. PHOTOS
Last night, on 27 March, the enemy launched a massive UAV attack on civilian targets in industrial areas in Poltava community.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the head of the RMA Volodymyr Kohut.
"Some of the targets were hit by air defence forces and equipment. As a result of hits and falling debris at 6 different locations, warehouses, an administrative building and a transformer of one of the enterprises were damaged. The attack caused fires with a total area of 2,500 square metres," the statement said.
As of 4:00 a.m., the fires at all facilities have been extinguished. Fortunately, there were no casualties. A total of 19 vehicles and 90 rescuers were involved in extinguishing the fires. We are grateful to the air defence forces and emergency responders for their work.
On the evening of 27 March, at least 20 drones attacked Poltava and its surroundings. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine later reported that the Russians had targeted civilian infrastructure, residential buildings and administrative buildings of oil and gas companies.
