Trump: I am receiving reports on use of Iranian drones in Russia’s war against Ukraine
US President Donald Trump said that he is studying reports on the use of Iranian kamikaze drones in Russia's war against Ukraine.
He said this during a briefing in the Oval Office, Censor.NET reports.
He was asked why he was doing nothing about the fact that Iranian drones are attacking and killing Ukrainians every day.
"There are reports of Iranian drones being used in the war in Ukraine... We will see what happens. I receive reports on this, we are studying these reports," he said.
"Iran is very high on my list of issues to watch... We're either going to have to talk and solve this problem, or something very bad is going to happen to Iran - and I don't want that to happen... I prefer that we resolve this issue with Iran," the American leader added.
Trump also reiterated progress in resolving Russia's war against Ukraine.
"There is progress in the negotiations to resolve the war in Ukraine, but there is bad blood between the parties," he said.
