Trump says he had "productive conversation" with Canadian PM Carney
American leader Donald Trump said he had a "productive conversation" with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.
He announced this on Truth Social, Censor.NET reports.
"It was an extremely productive conversation, we agree on a lot of things and will meet right after the upcoming Canadian elections to work on elements of politics, business, and all the other factors that will ultimately be great for both the United States and Canada," the White House chief wrote.
Earlier, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said that Canada is open to dialogue with the new US administration, but only if it respects Canadian sovereignty.
