Sweden allocates largest aid package to Ukraine - $1.6 billion

Sweden will provide Ukraine with a new military aid package worth $1.6 billion.
The aid to Kyiv was announced during a briefing by Swedish Defense Minister Pål Johnson, Censor.NET reports citing Reuters.
As noted, this is the largest aid package from Stockholm to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.
The largest portion of the package, more than $920 million, will consist of equipment that will be purchased in a process led by the Swedish Defense Logistics Agency. Jonson did not disclose any other details.
Earlier, the Swedish government stated that this year the country would increase its financial support for Ukraine in repelling Russian aggression. The amount of aid in 2025 will increase from 25 billion kronor (equivalent to $2.5 billion) to 40 billion kronor ($4 billion).
Earlier, Censor.NET reported that Sweden will allocate more than 7 million euros for a coalition of drones and demining for Ukraine.
