72 murders committed by Russians in Bucha solved since 2024 - National Police

Russians killed Ukrainians in Bucha. How many crimes have been solved

Since 2024, National Police investigators have solved 72 murders committed by the Russian occupiers during the occupation of Bucha in 2022.

This was reported by the Communication Department of the National Police, Censor.NET reports.

Results of police investigators' work for 2024-2025:

  • 2,500+ Russian servicemen stationed in Bucha identified;
  • 100+ Russians involved in war crimes have been identified;
  • 72 murders committed by Russians have been solved;
  • 34 Russians have been notified of suspicion for war crimes committed in Bucha;
  • 24 indictments against Russians who committed war crimes in Bucha have already been sent to court.

The police added that the investigators' work is ongoing.

As a reminder, on March 31, Ukraine commemorates the third anniversary of the liberation of the Kyiv region from Russian occupiers. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion in 2022, the city of Bucha was occupied by the Russian army for 33 days: from February 27 to March 31, 2022.

During this time, Russian aggression claimed the lives of 561 civilians, including 12 children.
