Lieutenant Andrii Hunko was killed while defending Ukraine
On March 29, Lieutenant Andrii Hunko, the son of a volunteer from Vinnytsia and founder of the NGO Molfar, was killed while defending Ukraine at the front.

Andrii Hunko was born on March 17, 1971 in Vinnytsia. In 2022, from the first days of the war, he came to the defense of Ukraine. He had the pseudonym Director. He held back the offensive in the suburbs of Kyiv, in Bakhmut, Stepove, and went through the Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Luhansk directions.
"Not very young, with health problems, without sufficient understanding of his personal role in this war, but this did not prevent him from deciding to go. When I went to war, I told my family: "I have to defend our home, our land!" said the soldier's mother.
On April 15, 2023, Andrii Hunko was awarded the Golden Cross by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
