Third Army Corps of Armed Forces of Ukraine joined Contract 18-24 project
The Third Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has joined the Contract 18-24 project of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
This is reported by Army FM radio, Censor.NET informs.
The commander of the Third Assault Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Andrii Biletsky, said that this concerns those who want to serve in combat positions and that this is a "good initiative."
"What's wrong with a guy or girl who chose the military path at the age of 18, although they are not forced by law at that age, or at the age of 20, starting with an extended military training course and receiving bonuses. It is normal in the 21st century to give people bonuses for their service," Biletsky added.
Contract 18-24 project: what is offered
By signing the contract, people under the age of 25 will receive UAH 1,000,000. UAH 200,000 immediately upon signing the contract, and UAH 800,000 in two installments for the duration of the contract (UAH 300,000 immediately after the pre-service training and professional training). In addition, servicemen will receive up to UAH 120,000 per month plus additional payments for combat missions, which can total up to UAH 2,000,000 per year.
Other financial benefits include the possibility of obtaining a mortgage at 0.0% per annum after the end of the contract ("eHouse"), free public transportation and utility benefits.
After the end of the contract, education in educational institutions within the state-funded quotas is an important factor for young people, who will also be eligible to travel abroad after one year of service.
