Lavrov: Preparations are underway for second meeting between US and Russian representatives
The second meeting between the delegations of Russia and the United States is being prepared.
This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Censor.NET reports citing Suspilne.
According to the minister, representatives of the Russian Federation and the United States, with the approval of Trump and Putin, are working on the topic of "eliminating the so-called irritants that seriously interfere with the work" of diplomats.
"There was a meeting in Istanbul, a second meeting is being prepared, and in the meantime, there are contacts by phone and video conferencing. I do not want to make predictions, but we see progress and the desire of our American partners to remove these absolutely unacceptable obstacles to the normal work of diplomats in capitals," Lavrov said.
