Czech Republic invests 100 million euros to upgrade hospitals in Ukraine

As part of the Ukraine Facility program, the Czech Republic will invest 100 million euros to upgrade Ukrainian hospitals.
According to Censor.NET, this was announced by Health Minister Viktor Liashko after the Ukrainian-Czech Medical Business Forum in Kyiv, which was also attended by Czech Health Minister Vlastimil Valek.
"The Czech Republic is potentially ready to finance the modernization of 13 hospitals in 7 regions of Ukraine under the Ukraine Facility program. To date, funding for 6 projects totaling more than EUR 100 million has been preliminarily agreed," the statement said.
Lyashko noted that among the institutions that will receive support:
- Lviv Regional Hospital for War Veterans and the Repressed named after Yuriy Lypa - 35.27 million euros;
- Rivne Regional Hospital for War Veterans - EUR 18.9 million;
- Volyn Regional Clinical Hospital - EUR 4.31 million;
- Kryvyi Rih City Hospital No. 5 - EUR 16.57 million;
- City Clinical Hospital No. 16 in Dnipro - EUR 14.93 million;
- Kyiv Regional Children's Hospital - EUR 10.27 million.
