The Russian army is trying to force the Seversky Donets-Donbas canal. In this area, the Russian army is using buggies and motorcycles during assaults.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by Yurii Syrotiuk, a sergeant of the fire support company of the 5th Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during a telethon.
"The enemy wants to resolve the issue of Chasiv Yar, is actively attacking on the Toretsk flank and looking at Kostyantynivka," the military emphasizes.
According to him, the occupiers are not succeeding, as Ukrainian defenders are actively attacking them with drones and firepower. He also added that small groups of Russians (two or three soldiers each) are storming Ukrainian positions.
As a reminder, Russian troops are trying to take control of the town of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region. The enemy is actively shelling the city and its surroundings, as well as using aviation in the direction of the surrounding settlements where civilians are located.
