Europe must continuously support Ukraine to achieve just peace - Latvian Defense Minister Spruds

Latvian Defense Minister Andris Spruds said that Europe should continuously support Ukraine and intensify its efforts to achieve a just peace through force.
He said this before an informal meeting of EU defense ministers in Warsaw, Censor.NET reports with reference to Ukrinform.
"We must continue to constantly support Ukraine. Peace through strength, a just peace - of course, Europe must also step up in this regard," Sprūds said.
Sprūds also emphasized the importance of continuing financial support for Ukraine. According to him, Latvia has already contributed 0.25% of its GDP to help Ukraine and called on other countries to do their part to demonstrate unity and support.
The minister noted that cooperation with Ukraine brings benefits to both sides, as Ukrainians have developed innovative technologies that can help Europe as well.
Speaking about transatlantic relations, Sprouts emphasized that they are not destroyed but, on the contrary, should be strengthened every day. "I don't think they are destroyed. I think they should be strengthened every day. This is a continuous process," he said.
