Daughter and wife of Ukrainian serviceman have been returned from occupation – Office of President

The daughter and wife of a Ukrainian serviceman have been returned from temporarily occupied territory as part of the President’s Bring Kids Back UA initiative.
The head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak, announced this on his Telegram channel, Censor.NET reports.
The family had long tried to leave on their own, but without success. During one of their attempts to cross the border, Russian forces checked their documents and personal data against a database and discovered that the father was serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After that, any independent attempt at evacuation became too dangerous.
"For a long time, they lived in fear and uncertainty. However, thanks to the efforts of the Ukrainian Child Rights Network, we managed to find a safe route. Today, the family is reunited. There is a period of adaptation ahead, but the family will not be left alone. They will receive the necessary support from psychologists and social workers," the statement said.
